North Lake County Library Foundation Board Membership Guidelines
Board members of the North Lake County Library Foundation (NLCLF) should be individuals who reflect the diverse community of Polson and the surrounding areas. This may include permanent and seasonal residents and individuals engaged in local businesses, the arts, sciences, charitable organizations, or other community initiatives.
Members are expected to actively support NLCLF’s mission by fostering community engagement, advocating for library resources, and attending scheduled board meetings. The board meets quarterly, and members are expected to participate in these meetings to provide input and guidance on the Foundation’s initiatives. Participation in fundraising efforts, outreach programs, and special events is also encouraged.
A strong passion for literacy, education, and community enrichment, along with a willingness to contribute time, expertise, or resources, is essential to helping the Foundation achieve its goals.

What We’re Doing
The Foundation and the Library work together to ensure private funds have the greatest impact on the Library’s collections, programs and services to the community.
